I really like the clean look of the new website. It is very easy to navigate, and the style of links on the left is cool. I've seen these on other web sites and like them except for one thing: I would prefer to be able to open more than one menu at a time rather than having one drop-down menu close when I want to keep it "unscrolled." It is exciting to be able to see forthcoming tour programs.

Gabriel Jackson is certainly doing extremely well; one of the choirs I sing with also has a major anniversary this year, and we're commissioning Jackson as well, and a fabulous chamber ensemble in Philadelphia (The Crossing, which specializes in very recent prepertoire and premiers, conducted by a friend of mine) has commissioned him very recently. His music pairs well with his inspirations from the Tudor period, eh? I'm not so interested in music by Eric Whitacre; I like his music, but his pieces seem to be stylistically stuck in the mode that brought/brings him fame, and in my opinion he seems to be over-programmed. In any case, it will be very popular on your US tour. (Ditto for his primary inspiration--Morten Lauridsen.)

Anyway, that was a long digression!

It's fun to see your photo gallery. Also I enjoy the sound clips and think that's a super (and necessary) idea. The font used for your site title is terrific--stylistic, classy, and memorable.

On a different topic (again): I have seen how brilliantly PP constructs programs, with choice and order of repertoire connecting theme, etc.. It would be wonderful to be able to buy CDs that offered some of these complete multi-composer concerts (recorded in the same way as your other CDs of course).

More than you wanted as a comment, I'm sure, but thanks for the opportunity. I thoroughly enjoyed your 12/2012 concert in Chicago!

Hi Nan Beth. I think you have the wrong year!! But never mind about that...I really hope you can come back, as ever. Next time (2011) it will be the Tallis 40-part motet. You've got to be there!

Congratulations!! A very good new for all who love Early Music. For all who love all your works.

I still remember yourk performance of Missa de l´homme armé (recorded in 1991?) It was the first Tallis Scholars recording I met. And -of course- not the last one!

Congratulations once again.

I enjoyed reading this! The best place for Josquin editions is the New Josquin Edition. Yes, we use it, with permission, for just about everything. Does your library have it? If not, I can help you further.

Best wishes, Peter
